Inca Jungle Trail 4 Days / 3 Nights

Day 01: Cusco –  Abra Malaga –  Santa Maria

Our first section does not lead to the Malaga pass (4350 meters above sea level) and then we descend to the point where the adventure begins with bicycles to Huayopata (1200 meters above sea level), from here we can continue by car to Santa María for lunch. Later we go to Santa Teresa to spend the night and visit the thermal baths of Cocalmayo.

Day 02:  Santa Maria – Santa Teresa

This day we have a long walk of 6 to 7 hours along a path that will allow us to see typical vegetation and farmhouses on the route, you will be able to taste some fruits and local food. At sunset we arrive at Santa Teresa, from where we can visit the thermal baths of Cocalmayo, perfect to de-stress and enjoy the surrounding landscape.

Day 3: Santa Teresa – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes

We have breakfast very early and then we will continue our journey to Hidroeléctrica where we will have lunch, from here a 3-hour walk to Aguas Calientes awaits us along the train tracks. In the first half of the day you can do more of an adventure activity, the Tiroleza, ideal for those who love adrenaline. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you settle into your accommodation with better facilities and we wait for the group dinner time to receive instructions for the next day in Machupicchu.

Day 04: Aguas Calientes – Inca Citadel Machu Picchu – Cusco

Our last day of Inca Jungle 3 days, we will get up very early, after breakfast we will approach to take the bus up from Aguas Calientes to Machu, We enter the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu, with our respective documents, yes is that we are lucky we will be able to see the amazing sunrise, here our Guide will explain us for an average of 2 hours, then you will have free time to take pictures on your own. After this we will have to take the bus to Aguas Calientes, here you can have your lunch. In the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and transfer by bus to Cusco, in this way we are finishing our Inka Jungle tour Peru.
